EUROPEAN FORUM ON RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IMPACT ASSESSMENT - EUFORDIA 2009
will take place in Prague, 24 – 25 February 2009

EUFORDIA is organised jointly by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Technology Centre of the Academy of Science in frame of the Czech EU presidency.

EUFORDIA will provide a discussion platform to the EU member states for assessment of national and European impacts of Framework programmes.

Czech Republic, France, Spain and Sweden together recently initiated the debate on impact assessment of Framework Programmes and each of them is currently developing part of the methodology. During the first day of the conference examples of good practise in ex-post evaluation and their subsequent use by policy makers should be shared. Second day will be methodologically oriented and will focus on socio-economic methods and analytical tool for impact assessment.

The local organizing committee hopes to bring together experts of national and international R&D foundations and programmes, analysts of R&D policies, researchers in evaluation in R&D and policy makers in order to propose future evidence based strategic implications.
